Answer by Ben Harris To start with, you will need to download the Java ME SDK. This allows you to develop applications for mobile devices (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javame/overview/index.html). You will also need an IDE, I suggest "NetBeans" to start with which you can get here http://netbeans.org/downloads/index.html (Download the "Java" version).
To start with, JGame (http://www.13thmonkey.org/~boris/jgame/) would probably be a good start. JGame "provides a very high-level framework for developing 'classic' type arcade games".

Now this is weird. I live in what is (clearly) a flat with poor noise insulation. And I do my best not to be a bad neighbour, i.e. I never wear shoes indoors, don't play loud music, haven't had any parties, or even had friends round. But I know that my downstairs neighbour must be able to hear what is going on in my flat (I can hear everything he does as well). Here's the thing: he has now complained about my noise twice. Both times when I was having sex. I don't think that I am exceptionally loud, but he has rung my mobile both times mid-way through to complain. The first time (which may have been a little rowdy) he texted me as well to say that my behaviour was unacceptable. Both occasions it was late at night (i.e. 2am / 3am) - I'm single, and I had hooked up in town and come home. I don't know what to do. Is it OK to have sex in your home late at night? Or should I be more considerate and not do it? I'm really worried about this - I have signed up to a six month let, so can't just move out. Thanks for the answers. I think I'm struggling with this because last night I was trying to be v. quiet, and don't think I was any louder than a normal conversation (I was not hollering, screaming etc, and had a blanket over my mouth at times!). And I was not above my neighbour, I was in the front room above his front room. If this was sufficient to wake him then he must also be woken when I walk around at night, go to the toilet, watch telly etc, but he doesn't complain about any of those things. I have had noisy neighbours myself and know how hateful that can be, but what can I do if there was simply insufficient noise insulation installed when the house was converted into two flats?
